The guided tour of the Vatican Museums and Saint
Peter's Basilica will allow you to discover the entire
history and art of the museums and part of the Vatican City with
our guide.
One of our coaches will take you from Piazza San Bernardo to
the entrance of the Vatican Museums.
Upon arrival, you will visit the Vatican Museums and
Galleries accompanied by our guide. Beginning at the
ultra-modern entrance erected to improve services during the 2000
Jubilee, the tour will include the Gallery of Chandeliers, the
Gallery of Maps, the Gallery of Tapestries and much more. The
most important work, the Sistine Chapel, will
be visited at the end of the tour where our guide will tell you
about the history and the secrets surrounding the Sistine Chapel’s
frescoes, painted by Michelangelo. Passing inside
the Vatican Museums we will arrive into the Basilica of Saint
Peter, commonly called Saint Peter's Basilica,
is one of four major basilicas of Rome. It is the most prominent
building inside the Vatican City and built on the ruins of Old
Saint Peter's Basilica. On wednesday, due to the Papal Audience,
the church of St. Peter will be visited only from outside.
Due to extremely high visitor numbers, extended queues at the
museum entrance may occur during peak season.
